Hi and thank you for visiting my website! I’ll keep this site updated with photos, press clippings, and audio and video files so come back and visit often.

Now in my second term, I know my way around the building a little better (both literally and figuratively) and I am looking forward to the session ahead.
I have been assigned to all new committees for this session and have been given the honor to serve as Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development. I asked Speaker DeLeo for this assignment because I wanted Cape Cod to have a strong voice on this Committee. I know many of you will have great ideas for me to pursue -- please pass them along!
I was also named to serve on the Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures, and State Assets, which deals with any matters concerning state lands and state buildings, and to review all legislation providing for the giving, loaning or pledging of the credit of the Commonwealth.
My third Committee assignment is to the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight, which has the responsibility to oversee the development and implementation of legislative auditing programs conducted by the Legislative Post Audit and Oversight Bureau.
There are plenty of challenges ahead, not the least of which will be crafting a budget to support core services while keeping taxes under control. As always, I look forward to your input to inform my decisions as we move forward during the session.
